    Omar planted bean seeds in a row. Every morning he checked the soil, but nothing grew. 'They're never coming up,' he grumbled, kicking a pebble. His neighbor, Mrs. Chen, showed him how to water the seeds a little each day instead of once a week. Omar tried it. Two weeks later, tiny green sprouts poked through the dirt. Omar grinned and ran to tell Mrs. Chen.
