    Where People Live in Lakeland

    On Lakeland's population map, darker color means more people in each square mile. The darkest spot is Harbor City, on the shore of Big Lake, where ships load wheat and cheese. The flat middle has light color with a few small towns and many farms. The rocky western hills are very light. The cold, forested north is the lightest of all.
