The Tall Slide
Zoe stood at the bottom of the tallest slide at the water park. Her stomach felt like a knot. "It's too high," she said, stepping back. Her cousin Leo climbed up first. "Watch me!" he shouted, and he zoomed down, laughing. "Count to three with me," he called. Zoe climbed the steps slowly. At the top, she counted, "One, two, three!" and pushed off. She splashed into the pool and came up grinning. "Again!" she cried, running back to the stairs.
