Lena's Library Card
Lena wanted to check out a book about sharks, but her library card was gone. She looked in her backpack, under her bed and in every coat pocket. Then her little brother, Sam, said, "I used it as a bookmark!" He ran to his room and came back with his picture book. The card was tucked between two pages. Lena laughed, hugged Sam and walked to the library. That night she read about sharks until bedtime.
